Space Coast Home Minders offers help to reduce the risk of these problems.  You benefit from having more time to enjoy your property.  And you gain peace of mind knowing that your home is well checked and respected while you are away. 
 
Prices and services are below.
 
Is your part-time property a condo, a seperate residence or an apartment?  Home Minders can make you feel more secure when using our services.
 
  
Check with your insurance company.
     You could save money, because most policies require that someone check the property during vacant periods..

With Home Minders you have choices:

 

  • Twice (Bi-monthly) a month  ($50) 
  • or more often  ($25 per added visit))

(Prices can be changed without notice except to advance contracts.)

 

At each visit your property is throughly checked, including:

  • At the first visit digital photos are taken of the interior and exterior of the property

From then on

  • We check for vandalism, breaking & entering
  • Vacuum up bugs
  • Check all windows for water leaks & damage
  • Plumbing & electrical service checked 
  • Flush all commodes
  • Perimeter check
  • Check AC bi-monthly, add bleach or vinegar to drain line & change filter @ 60 days
  • Report on status of your pool &/or lawn maintenance
  • We will roll storm shutters down before a storm or a warning of one, roll shutters back up afterwards.  Ask for a copy of our contract to see details.  (Extra charge for other than roll-down or accordian types of shutters)
  • Digital photographs & documentation of any damage found at any visit
  • Immediate notification of any problems and then we follow your instructions
  • With at least a 4 month contract - General cleaning (vacumn, dusting of flat services) before you return.
     
 
Payment options:
Security on all payment options is guaranteed.
 
You can pay your contract in advance and we will remind you the month before your contract expires.
 
Automatic debit from your bank account.
 
MC/VISA Accepted
 
Or your check to our office by the fifth day of each payment period.
(If your check is not received by the fifth of the month due, all services will stop until payment is received.  

 

Other services are available.

 

These services will be billed to your designated address or e-mail address, or if authorized or debited from your bank account.

 

Shutter Installation and Removal:

Charge based on the time to install and remove your shutters.  We will give you a price upon request.

 

Wait Package:

Our employee waiting for your service company or repair company to complete work.  (Not needed if the service is provided by one of our service companies.)
2 Hours - ($38)
4 Hours - ($65) 

 

Golf Cart:

Monthly battery charging and a drive around, so the tires don't block up- ($20 per month)

(Has to be included with at least the monthly property check. Cannot be included in a quarterly check).

 

Service & Repair:

Electrical, AC, Carpet Cleaning, Detailed Cleaning of Your Home/Condo, Fan Repair, etc.

By job cost - provided by one of our service companies or by one contracted by us.

  

Pick-up and Drop-off Services:

(Provided for our clients by a contracted commercial carrier.)  A Home Minder employee will arrive a 1/2 hour before pick-up to help you load your luggage.
